Mission Brief
Two teams face off in a ground battle for control over three objectives marked by a mix of long range and close quarters FPS combat. Control the objectives to earn points, and capture all three objectives to achieve Domination. The team with the most points at the end of the battle wins.
What to expect: FPS Combat, Medical Rescue, Drop Ship Deployment
Rules of Engagement
Teams
Two teams of approximately equal size designated as Team Red and Team Blue.
Objectives
The battlefield will be arranged around three objectives. The exact placement of objectives will vary by event according to the org leaders, and each objective will be clearly identifiable from the ground and assigned a recognizable label.
Dropships
Each team is permitted one Dropship with the ability to transfer multiple passengers a short distance. The Dropship is subject to the following restrictions:
- Each teams Dropship may only be used to transfer players from their Flagship to the near side of the closest objective, with the only exception permitted under the “Domination” condition.
- The Dropship must be a minimum of 100 meters away from the objective when deploying troops.
- The Dropship should not be fired upon by any combatant.
- The Dropship is not permitted to engage in any form of combat during the scenario, except in the case of self defense against NPC’s or hostile players not involved in the event.
5-Second Free Deployment – Players must be permitted at least a 5 second free deployment period after departing their dropship before they may be engaged in combat.
Flagships
Each team is permitted one Flagship with respawn capabilities that serves as both their respawn location and armory. The flagship is subject to the following restrictions:
- Each teams Flagship must be remain landed on the ground at least 1000 meters from the nearest objective and on the opposite side of the objectives as the opposing flagship.
- The Flagship is considered a safe zone and is off limits for the opposing team.
- The Flagship is not allowed to to engage in any form of combat during the scenario, except in the case of self defense against NPC’s or hostile players not involved in the event.
- The Flagship should not be fired upon by any combatant. Doing so is grounds for immediate expulsion from the competition and possible team forfeiture.
Contesting and Capturing an Objective
Only FPS combat is permitted in the efforts to contest an objective – vehicle combat is strictly forbidden.
All objectives start the event under neutral control. Once captured, they remain under control of the capturing team until the opposing team secures the objective.
For a point to be captured:
- At least one member of the capturing team must be present and have exclusive control over the area to start the 30-second capture countdown.
- At least one member of the capturing team must survive within the objective for the duration of the 30-second countdown to secure the objective.
- A player that is in a downed state awaiting medical rescue is still considered to be “Surviving.”
- If all capturing players are eliminated, the capture fails and the objective remains under the control of the original team.
Domination
If one team captures all three objectives simultaneously, the “Domination” condition is activated with the following conditions:
- The Domination condition ends immediately if the opposing team captures any objective.
- Bonus points are awarded each interval to the controlling team for as long as the Domination condition is active.
- After 5 minutes of continuous Domination, the opposing teams dropship will be permitted to deliver players to any objective they choose.
- This exception is only permitted while the Domination condition remains in effect. If a ship is in transit when the condition ends, they may finish the current deployment but must return to the flagship immediately after.
- The 100 meter minimum distance restriction and 5-second free deployment period will still be in effect.
If the “Domination” condition lasts for 15 continuous minutes, the Dominating team is declared the winner regardless of point totals.
Declaring a Ceasefire
In the event of an interruption or interference by outside members, a team leader may declare a ceasefire that must be agreed upon by the opposing leader.
In the event of a ceasefire the game timer will be paused and all players should remain in their positions until both teams leaders agree to resume play.
There will be a 30 second countdown when returning from a ceasefire.
Special Restrictions
There are no current restrictions unique to this scenario. Any form of FPS weapon is permitted.
Scoring
Points are awarded at a regular interval based on the following conditions:
- Points are awarded to the each team based on the number of objectives under their control.
- Bonus points are awarded to the controlling team while the Domination condition is active.
The winning team is the one who earned more points at the end of the designated time, with one exception:
- If one team maintains the Domination condition for 15 continuous minutes, the controlling team is declared the winner.
Preparation
T-30 Minutes: Party Launch
- All participants form a single party and launch from menus. Once in game, the party is disbanded and the two teams split into their respective parties.
- Late arrivals join their respective parties in game when space allows.
- Each team designates one Flagship and one Dropship that will be delivered to the combat zone.
- All participants should transfer multiple sets of FPS gear (undersuits, armor, weapons, and ammo) to the designated flagship and set the flagship as their respawn location.
T-15 Minutes: Combat Zone Preparation
- Both teams begin assembling at the combat zone with their Flagship and Dropship.
- Three objectives should be established with clearly identifiable markers, such as a unique abandoned vehicle type or a mission marker.
- The three objectives should be within 1000 meters total distance from each other with a mix of line of sight blockers and elevation gain between each point to facilitate a mix of long range and close quarters FPS combat.
- These objectives can be arranged in either a triangular or linear format but they must be spaced evenly.
- The boundaries of each objective must be defined as the interior of an abandoned vehicle or by a clear perimeter demarkation.
- The team with more players sends a crew to disable the Comm Array to prevent accidental crime reporting during the event.
T-5 Minutes: Final Review
- Each team confirms their Flagship and Dropship with the other team, and all other vehicles must be removed from the combat area.
- All players confirm that their respawn point is set to their teams flagship, and that they have transferred all required FPS gear to the flagship.
- Each team may load their Dropship with players, but it must remain within 100 meters of the Flagship until combat begins.
- All players are briefed on the combat zone, objectives, and rules of engagement.
T-0: Event Start
- The Dropships may now depart the Flagship area and the teams begin to contest control over the objectives.
Locations
The following locations provide an ideal environment for contested FPS objectives.
- “Scrapheap”: Located on Hurston at HDES Calthrope, “Scrapheap” Features a wide array of line of sight blockers as well as a handful of elevated positions.

Recovering from Interruption
Org leaders or their designated representatives can ask for a server relaunch if there is a signficant interruption to gameplay, such as third party interference or degraded performance.
In the event of a server relaunch, each team will have 15 minutes to return to the combat area. If FPS equipment is lost as a result of the interruption, an additional 15 minutes will be provided to allow teams to reoutfit.
