The Grievance system is intended to resolve situations where an individual or an organization acts in violation of the rules outlined in the selected Scenario, the Restricted Items List, or the SC War Games Code of Conduct during the course of – or as a direct result of – an officially sanctioned event. It is not a venue to complain about the outcome of an event or a specific situation that arose where no violation occurred.

Filing a Grievance

Grievances should be filed by a organization leader or designated representative within 7 days of the event, and submitted to the SC War Games Staff through our official discord server.

The following information must be included when submitting a grievance:

  • When was the event and who were the parties involved?
  • Who are the alleged offender(s)?
  • What specific rules do you believe were violated?
  • What evidence do you have of the violation?
    • If available, either the timestamped video link when the alleged violation occurred or a screenshot with “r_displayinfo 2” visible that proves that the offending party was in violation.
  • Was the offender warned during the event?
    • Provide timestamps and evidence when a warning was issued.
  • Any other specific context that may assist in determining if a violation occurred?

The submitter can withdraw their request at any time while the review is pending by notifying SCWG staff.

Grievance Review by SCWG Staff

Once received, the SCWG staff will review all provided information to determine whether a violation occurred. This review should be completed within 7 days of receipt.

Before issuing a decision the SCWG staff may request additional information from the submitter, the offender, or the offenders org leadership.

The possible outcomes of the Grievance are:

  1. A violation has been Confirmed.
  2. Insufficient Evidence.
  3. No Violation occurred.
  4. Grievance Withdrawn.

If requested, you may appeal the decision once and a second member of the SCWG staff will perform an independent review.

Afterll decisions by SCWG staff are final.
